Birth Doula Services
My formation as a doula started long before I did any official training thanks to the good grace of being present at a few of my good friend’s births, especially the homebirth of the son of one of my best friends –when the doctor didn’t get there in time.
I did my formal doula training with Michel Odent and Laura Gutman, among others while forming part of Mares Doules in Barcelona. I have been certified by DONA international, and was a member of the doula organization, Doulas Association of Catalonia and I have been accompanying mothers and their families for more than 25 years. Since the birth of my own children and my own postpartum experiences, where I would have liked to have more support, I have been offering help to mothers before, during and after birth. I also offer breastfeeding help, postpartum recuperation and consultations about Natural Family Living.
I currently offer my services in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara County.
